BICC Breakfast meeting hosting Gadi Ezra former Director of the National Public Diplomacy Unit at the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office

Members of the AIP participated at the breakfast meeting organised by the Bristish Israel Chamber of Commerce to host Gadi Ezra.

Gadi is a prominent international speaker who holds an unparalleled perspective on war, stemming from his vast experience as a human rights attorney and a Special Forces veteran. In his talk, “From the Law Books to the Battlefield”, Gadi shares his first-hand experiences from Operation Cast Lead – in which his team were among the first ground units to enter the Gaza Strip – while examining the dilemmas and complexities of applying the laws of war in modern warfare.
This talk has been shared with thousands on global tours and was also highly covered by Israeli and international media.
In his new talk, “From Ramadan to ‘Breaking Dawn’”, Gadi lay the unique characteristics of his last position,
the challenges of Israel’s security agencies and government ministries in the information and Public
Diplomacy (Hasbarah) domain, and the role he was tasked to lead in these fragile times for the country’s
security. Using the two major case studies in the talk’s title, Gadi portrays the reality of fake news, competing
narratives, and the need to act fast and precisely, in a world in which public and leadership opinions are
shaped rapidly.
