AWARD TO MALAWI PRESIDENT H.E. Dr Lazarus McCarthy Chakwera by AFRICA ISRAEL PARTNERSHIP

 
The Africa Israel Partnership (AIP) a UK registered organisation today the 4th April 2024 awarded the Malawi state President Dr Lazarus McCarthy Chakwera with a plaque and a certificate of recognition for his humanitarian support to the people of Israel which was received on his behalf by the Malawi UK High Commissioner, Dr Thomas Bisika. 
 
Presenting the awards, the Chairman of Africa Israel Partnership Mr Russell Conn who was accompanied by Dr Charles Leyman Kachitsa (Vice Chairman), Dr Oboh Achioyamen (Executive Secretary) and Ivan Lewis (Advisor, former UK MP and State Minister), said the organisation has made this presentation in appreciation of the president and people of Malawi for rendering support during the difficult period the country Israel is passing through.
 
On his part the Malawi High Commissioner Dr Bisika expressed gratitude for the goodwill gesture that the Africa Israel Partnership has done through the awards which he said will be presented to the Malawi State President Dr Chakwera by him personally. He also appreciated the work the organisation is doing in acting as a bridge to facilitate flow of investment and knowledge transfer between the continent of Africa and Israel. The High commissioner was accompanied by his deputy Justice Agnes Patemba, the embassy Trade Attache Ms Shakira Phiri, Investment Attache Mrs Violet Chakwera Leany and the International Development officer Reverend McDonald Sembereka. 
 
Africa Israel Partnership is a non-political organisation which  has its main focus as development of local communities from the two regions that come under its networks through partner institutions.
